Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, Jamaica
Those who love reggae culture will not find a better place to experience it than where it originated: Montego Bay, Jamaica. The annual four-day Reggae Sumfest is held during July in Montego Bay. Reggae musicians and festival attendees gather to enjoy reggae music and art. A celebrity musician usually headlines the festival. During 2007, Mary J. Blige and LL Cool J both performed at the Reggae Sumfest. Guests can purchase tickets for single events or buy a pass that will grant entry to any event. Numerous smaller parties are held in nightclubs and bars during the event.
