Aruba Hi Winds in Aruba
Aruba is a popular destination for windsurfing and kiteboarding. In fact, some of the world’s premier kite and windsurfers are from Curacao, Bonaire, and Aruba. Each year, a kite and windsurfing competition known as the Aruba Hi Winds is held in Aruba. Throughout the years, the competition has evolved from a professional to an amateur event. It has become one of the island’s most popular events, with numerous other celebrations held during the competition. Spectators crowd the beaches to catch a glimpse of the competition and often party into the night at Aruba’s trendy nightclubs.
