Aruba Beaches
The following are some of the most popular beaches in Aruba.
Palm Beach
The Travel Channel has identified Palm Beach as one of the premier beaches across the globe and the best beach for a family to vacation on. Numerous large resorts are located on this beach.
Dos Playa
This hilly beach sits on a beautiful Aruban limestone shore. The waters near the beach are too rough to swim in but this is a great place to wind surf.
Boca Catalina
Boca Cataina is a great destination for a family vacation, a romantic getaway, viewing a breathtaking sunset, or a snorkeling excursion. The beach is covered with beach huts known by the island’s residents as palapas.
Eagle Beach
A major newspaper has identified Eagle Beach as the Caribbean’s premier beach. There are miles of fine sand and calm waters for tourists to enjoy. This is a popular region for water recreation, with many activities sponsored by nearby hotels and resorts.
Baby Beach
This beach is set on the eastern portion of the island where fewer tourists vacation. It is a great location for families or individuals seeking privacy. The nearby waters are shallow and transparent, making it a great beach for children to wade.
Hadicurari
Hadicurari is one of the premier locations in the region for windsurfing. In fact, the yearly Hi-Winds Pro Am Windsurfing Competition is held here. Since the water is shallow, this is a great spot for swimmers, and the wind that has popularized the region for windsurfing makes the beach an ideal spot for kite flying.
